Ingredients:
For the Wontons:
- 250 grams ground chicken meat
- 100 grams shrimp, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Palma Ground White Pepper
- 24 wonton wrappers
For the Soup:
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Palma Ground White Pepper
- Salt, to taste
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, grated ginger, sugar, and white pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Take one wonton wrapper and place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it diagonally to form a triangle. Press the edges firmly to seal. Bring the two corners of the triangle together and press to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth and water to a boil. Add the minced garlic, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, white pepper, and salt. Stir well to combine the flavors.
- Carefully add the wontons to the boiling soup. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the wontons float to the surface and are cooked through.
- Once the wontons are cooked, remove the pot from the heat. Ladle the soup into serving bowls, making sure to distribute the wontons evenly.
- Garnish with additional chopped green onions, if desired.
- Serve the wonton soup hot and enjoy!
Note: You can add lettuce leaves, sliced green onions, or fried onions as additional garnish.
